Refund and Cancellation Policy

Last updated: May 30, 2026

Cabrera-Lalama Enterprises LLC, doing business as Web Bits (“WebBits”), provides custom professional services across web development, software, consulting, training, and related work. Because scope, timeline, and deliverables vary widely, there is no single site-wide deposit, payment, cancellation, or refund schedule that applies to every engagement.

This page explains how we handle billing in general. The specific terms for your project, task, or service always come from the documents you sign or accept for that engagement.

1. Each engagement has its own terms

Every project, task, retainer, workshop, consultation, or other service we offer is governed by its own written terms. Those terms may appear in one or more of the following, depending on the work:

  • A proposal or statement of work (SOW)
  • A master services agreement or client contract
  • An order form, scope addendum, or change order
  • An invoice, payment link, or checkout instructions
  • Written confirmation email that you accept by reply or payment

Those documents—not this web page—define deposit amounts (if any), payment milestones, due dates, accepted payment methods, cancellation rights, and refund eligibility for that specific engagement.

2. Deposits and payments

Some engagements require a deposit or upfront payment; others are billed hourly, in milestones, on completion, or on a recurring basis. Amounts and timing are set per engagement, not by a fixed company-wide rule.

Before you pay, review your proposal, contract, or invoice for the exact amount due, what it covers, and whether it is refundable under the terms stated there. If anything is unclear, contact us before submitting payment.

3. Cancellations

Whether you may cancel work, how much notice is required, and what fees apply if you cancel are defined in your agreement for that project or service. One engagement's cancellation terms do not automatically apply to another.

To request a cancellation, email sales@webbits.dev with your name, company (if applicable), and the project or invoice reference. We will confirm next steps according to your signed terms.

4. Refunds

Refund eligibility—if any—is stated in your engagement documents. We do not apply a default refund percentage or timeline across all services. Factors that commonly appear in project-specific terms include whether work has started, deliverables already provided, third-party costs incurred, and the cancellation provisions you agreed to.

If you believe you are entitled to a refund under your agreement, contact us with the relevant invoice or contract reference. We will review your request against the terms that govern that engagement and respond in writing.

5. If documents conflict

If this page conflicts with a signed proposal, contract, SOW, or invoice for a specific engagement, the signed or accepted document for that engagement controls. Where multiple documents apply, we follow the order of precedence stated in your master agreement or, if none is stated, the most recent written terms you accepted for that work.
