WebBits wants everyone to be able to use webbits.dev, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification, voice control, or other assistive technology. This statement explains the standard we work toward, what we have done so far, where we know the site still falls short, and how to get help.
1. Our standard
This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 (opens in new tab) at Level AA. Based on our most recent review, we consider the site partially conformant: most content meets the standard, but some parts, described below, do not fully meet it yet.
We have not obtained a third-party certification, and we do not claim full conformance. Accessibility is ongoing work, and we fix issues as we find them or as they are reported to us.
2. What we have done
- Semantic HTML. Pages use real headings, landmarks, lists, and tables so assistive technology can describe the structure of each page.
- Keyboard navigation. Menus, links, buttons, and forms can be reached and used with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator and a “Skip to main content” link at the top of every page.
- Color contrast. We check text and interface colors against WCAG contrast requirements, and links inside paragraphs are underlined so they do not rely on color alone.
- Reduced motion. If your device is set to reduce motion, decorative animations are turned off or kept to a minimum.
- Labelled forms. Form fields have visible labels, required fields are identified, and error messages explain what needs to be fixed.
- Text alternatives. Informative images have descriptive alternative text, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Testing. We test pages with automated accessibility tools and with manual keyboard checks, and we review layouts at narrow screen widths and with text zoomed in.
3. Known limitations
Some content on or linked from this site is provided by third parties and is outside our direct control:
- Google reCAPTCHA. Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA to block spam. It is provided by Google, and some people using assistive technology may find its challenges difficult. If a challenge stops you from sending a form, call or email us instead and we will help you directly.
- External review and social media sites. Links to client reviews and our social media profiles open on sites such as Trustpilot, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram. Those sites have their own accessibility practices.
We also continue to review older pages and blog content. If you find something we have missed, please tell us.
4. Get help or report a barrier
If you have trouble using any part of this website, or you need information in a different format, contact us and we will work with you to provide what you need:
- Phone: (908) 443-1143

- Online: our contact form
When you report a barrier, it helps to include the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you were using. We aim to respond within 2 business days.
