Information you provide. When you complete a contact form, book a consultation, subscribe to a newsletter, or email us, you may share your name, email address, phone number, company, and any details you include in your message.

Client and billing information. If you become a client, we collect information needed to perform the specific project or service you hired us for and to handle billing for that engagement. This may include billing contact details, purchase order numbers, tax identifiers, and payment-related information processed through our invoicing or payment providers. What we collect and how long we keep it can vary by engagement because each project or service is governed by its own agreement.

Information collected automatically. When you browse our site we automatically receive certain technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps. This information is used to operate the site, diagnose issues, and analyze traffic.

Cookies and similar technologies. We use cookies and browser storage to remember your consent preferences. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) are used only if you choose “Accept analytics” in the cookie banner. You can decline analytics cookies and still use the site. To change your choice later, clear site data for webbits.dev in your browser settings, then revisit the site to see the banner again.

We also use Calendly to schedule meetings. When you book a call, Calendly processes your name, email, and scheduling details on our behalf under their own Privacy Notice.

We use cloud infrastructure providers to host and deliver the site. Those providers may process technical logs (such as IP addresses and request metadata) needed to operate the service securely and reliably.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these limited cases:

• With service providers who help us operate the site (hosting, analytics, scheduling, email).
• When required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to affected users.

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics default retention (14 months).

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the GDPR (EU/UK) or CCPA/CPRA (California), including the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. California residents: We do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA. You may still submit a request to know or delete by contacting us.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage on the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.

WebBits is operated by Cabrera-Lalama Enterprises LLC from Union, New Jersey, United States. If you access our site from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be highlighted on the site or communicated by email where appropriate.

Your use of this site is also governed by our Terms of Use. Deposits, payments, cancellations, and refunds for paid work are described in our Refund and Cancellation Policy; the terms in your proposal, contract, or invoice for each project or service control for that engagement.
